Here are, I hope some better pictures. The spare wheel well has
pinholes all over it and is thin in places which don't really show in photos. So I'm in two minds which way to go as like you say you have to lose the joins which I would think can be quite hard to do, though my welding is getting better!!! |

i managed to save the origional part of this and weld it into the new floor. i also saved the origional battery box. the buldge is differnt around where the fuel hose goes throught the floor and has a much larger hole. i simply welded the hole up and cut a smaller one. left the buldge, thought that was too much effort. a spare wheel bracket and tank stand/s need welding on a reinforcing strip is required for the very front of the seat pan and various other holes need filling up but saying that atleast it is nice thick unrusty metal! |
