To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the launch of the Mini, the Mini Cooper Register is arranging a special display with one car from each of the 50 years at our National Mini Cooper Day at the National Motor Museum, Beaulieu on Sunday 14[suP]th[/suP] June 2009

If you would like to have your car considered for display, please complete fully theattachedform and please supply a current picture of the car.

We are interested in all cars regardless of condition, but they must be relatively standard or with period modifications.

Cars must be taxed, and MOT’d if applicable

The final selection will not be made until May 2009.

Applications can ONLY be considered on this form

The organisers’ decision on cars to be displayed is final and no correspondence will be entered into on the selection.

The forum will let you see our progress in finding a car from each year.

[align=left]This announcement in the 'MCR members Only' section of the forum coincides with the publication of the November issue of the magazine where details of this special displayare also announced. We hope to source the majority of cars from the MCR membership, but for those hard to find years we may well have to seek a wider audience![/align]

I think the chances that I can come in my 1967 Mk II Cooper are looking good. But I want to be sure before I make any concrete promises either for this display or for the Mk II Cooper display...

Guys, enteries are being 'considered'. If your interested one way or the other I'd let people know. There are bound to be events shortly before the event which leave gaps in the list. I'm sure the committee would love to be in the position of having at least2 cars available for each slot so that they aren't left with a gap on the day.

The application form has been only circulated to members at the moment and it will be repeated with the December magazine so as to give members the first chance to submit their cars for consideration.

We are progressing resonably well with cars being offered for consideration.

Just because we have filled a year it doesn't mean we've stopped looking for that year we would love a greater choice.

We would especially be pleased to hear from people who have got non cooper Minis!

Travellers, Mokes, Pick Ups, Vans, Clubmen and so on.

Mini 25, 30, 35, 40 would be of great interest as well.
