8 port arden head

8 port arden head.

must be new and unused, ideally like to source a fresh casting, either as cast or with just minimal work such as seats fitted.

have had too much trouble with old heads recentley!

Don't one of MED Engineering or MiniSpares build reproduction Arden 8-port heads?

MED have heads cast for them. They did have prices and specs. of modified heads on their website, but I checked lat night and I couldn't find them. Steve Whitham is the main man there, speak to him.

Both have had dealings, Minispares site still has an article dated Jan'09 but I can't find any sign of it for sale. Cams are still listed. Article lists recommended engineering companies to assist with fitment so perhaps heads supplied through them.
MED have plenty of pics on site but most of the links under Services/A-series, including the MED 8-port, aren't going anywhere.

ive tried many suppliers, but they either have no stock, or no firm dates for new stock.

someone must have one (or better, two) tucked away?

It's not the head you were asking about but I'd read somewhere that Weslake Engineering were about to produce some more of their 8-port heads. Their web site just says to contact them for further information.

hi, that looks very interesting, but our engine is built to accept an arden head, so we have all the manifolds, carbs etc etc
